It is now time to attach a stem to your floating flower. Start your lines out thick and taper them off to a point as you move away from the head of your flower. Now you will want to draw five lines on each flower petal. Once you are finished, your flower should look like the one shown above. The fifth step is a favorite of many-the flower petals! You are now going to draw some big fluffy and beautiful flower petals around the base you just made. You will want to make this circle slightly off-center.įun Fact: The center of a sunflower is called the ‘disk floret’. This will be a simple circle above your flower pot. The fourth step is to draw the base of your flower head. Step 4: Draw the Base of Your Flower Head This will help add interest to your drawing and make it look fancy.
